We are not a bank, a lender or an FCA-authorised advice firm. That limit is deliberate. It keeps this site in the realm of education: how to build a budget, how UK bills behave, how to sequence savings, and when to pick up the phone to free debt advice.
What we do
We produce clear guides on personal budget planning in the UK and we speak with households who want a structured walkthrough of their own numbers. A typical conversation is ninety minutes: net income, immovables, the leak, then one method they will still be using in six weeks. We will not sell you a product, a lead-generation mortgage or a paid debt package.
What we will not do
We will not tell you which ISA provider to open, which tariff to switch to, or whether to overpay the mortgage. Those questions can involve regulated advice. We will show you how to put the decision in the right column of a budget and where official guidance lives (MoneyHelper, Ofgem, your local authority, Citizens Advice).
