What we collect
If you email or telephone us, we process the contact details you give (name, email address, phone number, and the content of your message) so we can reply. If you visit the studio, we may note an appointment time. If you use the on-site budget planner, figures are stored in your browser with localStorage and are not sent to our servers. If you accept optional cookies, we store a consent record on your device.
Our web host records standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps) for security and to keep the site running. We do not sell lists, run remarketing pixels, or share data with data brokers.
Lawful bases
- Legitimate interests: answering enquiries, keeping the website secure, improving written guides.
- Contract: if we agree to a paid planning session, we process the details needed to deliver it and invoice it.
- Consent: optional cookies, and any mailing list we may operate in future (we do not run one at the date of this policy).
- Legal obligation: records we must keep for tax or to respond to a lawful request.
How long we keep it
Enquiry emails are kept for up to 24 months after the last reply, unless a session follows. Session and invoice records are kept for six years after the tax year they relate to. Server logs are typically rotated within 90 days by the host. You can delete planner data and cookie consent by clearing site data in your browser.
Processors and transfers
Email and hosting providers act as processors under written terms. If a provider stores data outside the UK, we rely on UK adequacy regulations or another lawful transfer tool. We do not transfer your enquiry to marketing partners.
Your rights
You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or portability, and you may withdraw consent where we rely on it. Email [email protected]. Cookies
Essential cookies (or localStorage) remember that you have seen the consent banner. Optional storage remembers planner figures on this device. We do not set advertising cookies. Rejecting optional cookies does not stop you reading the guides.
Children
The site is written for adults planning a household. We do not knowingly collect data about children.
