Nothing on this website, and nothing said in an informal planning conversation, is advice on a specific financial product, investment, pension, insurance policy, mortgage or consumer-credit agreement. Cunealriva is not authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority. If you need personalised advice, instruct an authorised firm or use free guidance from MoneyHelper.
3. Using the site
You may read and print guides for personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy the site wholesale, scrape it, or present our pages as your own. Figures quoted from ONS, Ofgem, GOV.UK and similar sources are snapshots; they move, and you should check the original publication before you rely on them for a decision.
4. Planner tool
The monthly planner on the home page runs in your browser. We do not verify the numbers you type. A positive remainder is not a recommendation to invest; a negative remainder is not a recommendation to borrow.
5. Conversations and sessions
Emails and calls are answered in good faith during UK office hours. An appointment is confirmed only in writing. If we agree a fee, it will be stated before the session. Either of us may cancel with 24 hours’ notice; missed appointments without notice may be charged. We can end a conversation that needs regulated advice and point you to an appropriate body.
6. Accuracy and liability
We take care with the guides, but household finance is local and personal. To the fullest extent permitted by English law, Cunealriva is not liable for loss that arises because you relied on a general guide without checking your own statements, tenancy, tariff or tax position. We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
7. Intellectual property
The Cunealriva name, layout and original writing are ours. Official statistics remain the copyright of their publishers. Photographs are used under our licence.
8. Privacy
Personal data is handled as described in our privacy policy.
9. Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that you may also bring a consumer claim in the UK nation where you live.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top of the page is the version that applies to new visits. Continued use of the site after a change is acceptance of the new terms.
